Priests, Nuns March to Vatican to Demand End to ‘Genocide’ in Gaza
About 150 clergy and supporters carried a shroud naming 300 children and called for an end to the war in Gaza.
- On Tuesday, about 150 Catholic priests, nuns, and a bishop marched to the Vatican and prayed outside St Peter's Basilica, calling for an end to what they described as the "genocide" in Gaza.
- Organisers said the "Priests Against Genocide" network, formed in August 2025, now includes more than 2,500 priests and bishops from five continents. The turnout was significantly larger than the march held last year.
