Mass Focus: Researchers Find Catholic Priests Are Honed in on Immigration Issues

DETROIT, MICHIGAN, JUL 17 – Catholic clergy in Detroit advocate for immigration policies grounded in human dignity and Catholic social teaching as 71% of priests discuss immigration more than most political issues.

Catholic priests across the U.S. discuss immigration with their congregations more than leaders in many other faith traditions, according to our new research published in the journal Sociological Focus.
