Catfish Stocked in Downtown Concho River for Final Time This Summer

SAN ANGELO, TX — Channel catfish were stocked in the Concho River in downtown San Angelo just before noon Friday.It’s the last time they’ll be stocked in the river until Sept. 4.The fish were released into Oakes Street Lake at 396 S. Irving St.There are numerous spots for anglers to set up, including by The Bosque, on Celebration Bridge and in the shade under the Chadbourne Street bridge.The stockings are part of the TPWD's Neighborhood Fishin’ …
