HOPE RANCH, Calif. – Santa Barbara County Fire crews put out a house fire that killed a cat and a dog just after 4:00 p.m. on July 4. Firefighters Battle Residential Structure Fire in Hope Ranch

Firefighters responded Friday afternoon to a residential structure fire in Hope Ranch. Emergency personnel were dispatched shortly after 4 p.m. to the fire in the home on the 1200 block of Silvestre Road, according to Capt. Scott Safechuck of the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.
