6 arrested for swapping gold with brass - The Tribune

Six individuals, including four women from Haryana and Rajasthan, have been arrested for allegedly stealing gold jewellery from a shop in Shimla district. The accused have been identified as Kiran (52) from Ganganagar, Rajender Kumar (47) from Rawatsar in Hanumangarh, Lakhmi Chand (50), Bateri (70), Soni (70), and Rajbai (38) — all from Ratia in Fatehabad, Haryana.

Nagpur: Thieves broke into a locked house in the Gittikhadan area and stole cash and gold worth over Rs 6.58 lakh. The burglary occurred between 11:00 am on June 7 and 6:00 pm on June 8, 2025.
