Carrier Global to Sell Riello to Ariston Group - South Florida Business ...

From Palm Beach Gardens, Carrier announced on Dec. 17, 2025, it entered a definitive agreement to sell Riello to Ariston Group, with expected proceeds of $430 million.
After a comprehensive bidding process, Carrier framed the sale as disciplined portfolio management to sharpen its focus on differentiated climate and energy solutions and chose Ariston Group for its complementarity.
The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2026, subject to regulatory authorities and works councils, with BofA Securities as exclusive financial advisor and Linklaters LLP as external legal counsel.
Paolo Merloni, Executive Chairman of Ariston Group, said the group is honored to welcome Riello and will build on its legacy to create value for stakeholders, pending approvals that may affect operations.
Ariston Group, listed on Euronext Milan, reported 2.6 billion-euro revenues in 2024 with over 10,000 employees and a global footprint of 40 countries, 29 production sites, and 28 R&D centers, positioning it to integrate Riello’s expertise.
