The largest food dealer in Europe, Carrefour, announced, on Thursday, the sale of his unit in Romania to Pavil Holding, in a transaction of 823 million euros.
The distributor is taking a major step forward in its refocusing towards its three priority countries: France, Spain and Brazil.
Carrefour is selling its Romanian subsidiary Paval Holding for €823 million. This marks the latest stage of change for the French retail giant, which is streamlining its portfolio and focusing on its core markets.
