No doubt Jean Bart will be at the heart of the festivities of the Three Joyes, the highlight of Dunkirk's carnival, on March 2, 3 and 4, 2025. Born in the middle of the 17th century, anointed by Louis XIV and buried in the crypt of Saint-Éloi church, the corsair hero is an integral part of the carnival and the city, moreover nicknamed the "Cité de Jean Bart".
