The government has approved a proposal to transfer vehicles online without visiting offices or delivering license plates and vehicle registration certificates to dispensing boxes and dispensing points.
Transferring or registering a vehicle should now be possible completely online. Motorists will be able to have registration plates and documents delivered to a delivery box, and when exchanging a car they will also be able to keep the original plate. The government has approved an amendment to the Act on the Conditions of Operation of Vehicles on Roads.

The government of Andrej Babiš is planning to amend the Act on the Conditions of Operation of Vehicles on Roads. The amendment, submitted by Transport Minister Ivan Bednárik (for the SPD), will allow vehicle transfers without visiting offices or delivering license plates and registration certificates to dispensing boxes and dispensing stations.
