Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Southwest Pilot Gets Concussion

The first officer aboard Southwest Flight 568 landed the Boeing 737 jet after an instrument display hit the pilot in the head and he suffered a mild concussion.

The captain's head-up display dissipated when the Southwest Airlines plane took off and fell on the pilot's head. He briefly lost consciousness and had to surrender afterwards – the plane had to turn around. The plane took off in Las Vegas on April 19th and was supposed to fly to Reno. However, in the ascent flight, the display dissipated and hit the pilot on the head. The first officer immediately reported the dramatic incident to the tower.
