Canton police lift shelter-in-place order after woman shot in car

A shelter-in-place order for residents of Canton has been lifted after a woman was shot in a car on Monday night, according to the police department. The shelter-in-place order had begun around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 15, for residents of the Canton Woods Apartments, Lamplighter Village apartments and any homes or businesses from Tracywood Road south to the Stoughton town line, a statement from the Canton Police Department said.
