Candle Lake rescinds voluntary evacuation advisory and local state of emergency

The Resort Village of Candle Lake has rescinded the voluntary evacuation advisory, effective June 13, 2025,  at 9:27 a.m. as well as they have lifted the local state of emergency. Recent fire assessments along with the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency’s fire data and weather forecasts have indicated a lower fire threat for the community.
