Another name has been removed from Péter Magyar's list of possible presidential candidates. After other previously mentioned individuals did not accept the invitation, Ignác Romsics also indicated that he does not wish to be president of the republic, so it is still unknown who the Tisza Party will nominate for the position.
According to the paper, the candidate supported by the Tisza Islands and the Békéscsaba Tiszás MP won the by-election for local government representative in the capital of the Viharsark region, which was held despite a low turnout. The winner, Gergő Tatár, could even challenge and defeat city leader Péter Szarvas in the 2029 local elections.
