Prostate cancer blood test detects twice as many cases

A pioneering blood test detected more than twice as many high-risk prostate cancer cases as current methods, paving the way for more effective screening. Research on more than 12,000 men aged 50 to 74 found the test identified up to 90 per cent of clinically significant prostate cancers.
