New Delhi: The Supreme Court has said that medical shops are selling cancer drugs for up to Rs 27,000, which are sold by manufacturers for Rs 2,700 to retailers, at a tenfold markup. This is daylight robbery.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday expressed serious concern over the prices of life-saving drugs, especially cancer drugs. The court questioned the huge difference between the price of the retailer price (PTR) and the maximum retail price (MRP).
