The Canadian Union of Postal Workers had urged the roughly 55,000 postal service workers it represents to reject the proposals from the Crown corporation.

Uncertainty Looms as Postal Workers Turn Down Final Offer

A majority of the 56,000 workers with Canada Post have rejected what was billed by  the corporation as its final offer. The vote included both the urban and rural carrier units.
