- Xander Ketrzynski led Canada with a match-high 20 points, while Eric Loeppky added 18 and Stephen Maar contributed 12 to power the offensive effort.
- "We were able to sit with it down the stretch and go point by point with a really strong, technical team," Maar said, as the victory improved Canada to 1-1 at TD Place.
- Canada outperformed France in attack points 58-53 and blocking 15-7, while committing 22 errors compared to France's 24, securing the statistical edge.
- The team takes Friday off before facing the United States on Saturday in their next Volleyball Nations League matchup.
