Canada Bridge constructed by unqualified welders

On the 21st, Canadavia announced that several workers without welding qualifications were engaged in the manufacture of bridges and other structures at its Mukaishima plant (Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture). After it was discovered in 2024 that a subsidiary had falsified data on marine engines, the company had been investigating quality irregularities in other businesses as well.
