Can XRP Break Out of Its Triangle Above $1.54?
Analyst Ali Martinez says an hourly close above $1.54 could lift XRP about 10%, but heavier Binance supply and $1.70 resistance may limit gains.
Crypto analyst Ali Martinez, known as Ali Charts, identified a symmetrical triangle on XRP's hourly chart, suggesting an hourly close above $1.54 could trigger a 10% price increase.
Trading around $1.48 on October 3, XRP faces mounting downward pressure as supply increases on Binance, with holdings there dropping 20% since November 2024 into active trading wallets.
Even if XRP surpasses $1.54, it faces resistance at $1.70 where sellers previously halted gains; conversely, a fall below $1.40 could signal a downside break toward the mid-August low near $1.00.
Evernorth plans to list shares on Nasdaq on October 8 with about 473 million XRP valued at roughly $700 million, though the listing will not generate new buying pressure since it already holds the tokens.
While some investors believe XRP could reach $10 within a few years, predictions from earlier this year suggested $2.80 by year-end, though reaching either target appears unlikely given current market headwinds.
