Campbell River Art Gallery celebration of striking new entryway murals

A new mural now graces the entryway of the Campbell River Art Gallery. Trials and Tribulations by Kwakwaka’wakw artist James Kwaksistala will be celebrated at a ceremony on July 17 at 2:00 p.m. at the gallery. Rendered in the traditional Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw style, the artwork transforms the gallery doors into a meaningful cultural threshold.
