Ahead of the September 6th elections in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt, the Campact association has launched a €620,000 campaign appealing to the SPD and the Greens to strategically vote to prevent the AfD from forming a government alone. According to polls, the AfD is leading with 43%, while the SPD and the Greens are at risk of failing to cross the electoral threshold.
