Cameran Brown throws for 2 touchdowns, Georgia State adds 6 on the ground in 59-10 rout of NC A&T
Cameran Brown completed 15 of 20 passes for 190 yards as Georgia State's revamped offense piled up 563 total yards.
On Friday, Georgia State opened its season with a dominant 59-10 victory over North Carolina A&T, with quarterback Cameran Brown throwing two touchdown passes and six players scoring rushing touchdowns.
Following a 1-11 season in 2025, Georgia State signed 37 transfers and 24 incoming freshmen to revitalize the roster for the new campaign.
The Panthers' offense overwhelmed the opposition, producing 563 total yards with 279 passing and 284 rushing yards while scoring on six consecutive possessions.
North Carolina A&T managed only 209 yards and 10 first downs in the loss; the 0-2 Aggies scored their sole touchdown on a 61-yard pass from Kevin White to Anthony Rucker.
Georgia State travels to face Kennesaw State on September 12, while North Carolina A&T visits North Carolina Central the same day seeking their first victory.
