EBENSBURG, Pa. – A Lilly-area woman accused in the 2024 death of her 5-year-old son accepted a guilty plea agreement Tuesday in Cambria County court.

Jennifer Bowser, a Cambria County mother, entered a guilty plea yesterday, for the February 2024 death of her 5-year-old son, Samson.  Bowser pled guilty but mentally ill to charges of third-degree murder, strangulation, and endangering the welfare of children.  Investigators state the boy was found dead at Martha’s Manor in Cresson Township, where the family lived.  Bowser originally told police that “voices” commanded her to kill her son.  Pro…
