Cambodia: Diaspora Called to Vote for a Symbolic Exiled Parliament to Promote Democracy

The Cambodians of the diaspora who have been called to vote since 1st and until 14th October. This is not a presidential or legislative election, but to elect a parliament in exile. The Khmer Movement for Democracy (KMD) is at the origin of this initiative and 47 seats are to be filled. If the stake is above all symbolic, the aim is to promote democracy in a country with an iron hand by the Hun family for four decades.
