Caldwell County Man Arrested Following Infant Death
Police said the one-month-old died after being flown to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital with life-threatening injuries, and detectives later arrested his father.
- Kentucky State Police arrested 22-year-old Givonte T. Riley of Princeton and charged him with murder following the death of his 1-month-old infant from Trigg County.
- On Saturday, Sept. 26, troopers received a report that the infant was "found unresponsive and flown to Vanderbilt Children's Hospital" with life-threatening injuries, where the child died later that day.
- Following "an autopsy and extensive investigation," detectives arrested Riley, the infant's father, according to Kentucky State Police.
- Riley is currently incarcerated at the Christian County Jail, where he is being held on a $1 million cash bond according to the jail website.
