According to the Cherokee County Clerk, an error in the calculation of levies for the City of Baxter Springs occurred when the levies were set for the 2025 Tax Roll. The levies for the City of Baxter Springs were set incorrectly at 3.5 mills when they should have been set at .5 mills.
