Caitlin Clark Scores 37 Points as the Fever Beat the Sky 113
Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell combined for 14 3-pointers as Indiana improved to 25-14 and completed a season sweep of Chicago.
On Sunday, Aug. 23, the Indiana Fever defeated the Chicago Sky 113-90 at Wintrust Arena, snapping a two-game losing streak.
Missing star center Aliyah Boston due to a lower left leg injury, Indiana maintained offensive momentum throughout the contest.
Led by Caitlin Clark's 37 points and career-high eight three-pointers, the Fever set a franchise record of 18 made threes, with Kelsey Mitchell adding 30 points.
With the loss, the Sky were eliminated from playoff contention for the third straight season, unable to counter Indiana's offensive efficiency.
Friday night's matchup against the Connecticut Sun offers the Fever a chance to start a new winning streak before the FIBA World Cup break.
