Cadillac Reveals V-ONE Concept Based on Its IMSA/WEC V-Series.R Prototype
The single-seat concept channels the V-Series.R race car and signals Cadillac’s future design direction, executives said.
- On Friday, August 14, 2026, Cadillac unveiled the V-One Concept at The Quail, a single-seater performance car co-developed by Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing, and Dallara that translates race-winning technology into a driver-focused experience.
- Cadillac developed the V-One to explore: "What if we made our race car a little bit more comfortable and people could maybe drive it on the dang road?" The concept builds on the brand's optimistic futurism dating to 1934.
- The V-One features a 5.5-liter DOHC V-8 hybrid powertrain producing 830 combined horsepower. Inside, the car incorporates Cadillac Collection recycled fabrics, a bespoke steering wheel, and retains the FIA-approved survival cell from the racing prototype.
- While the V-One Concept is not available for sale, it follows similar Hypercar-derived customer cars from Ferrari and Porsche. The project reinforces Cadillac's broader race-winning story across design, performance, and technology.
- Cadillac Executive Design Director Dominic Najafi said the V-One is "a clear sign of our ambition for the Cadillac V-Series brand in the future." The concept represents the evolution of a binary devotion to design bridging luxury and extreme performance.
