An extra monthly salary for employees who have been employed for 25 or 40 years may soon be a thing of the past. The scheme is on the list to disappear because it is said to be outdated. The government would be making a big mistake by doing so, says CNV chairman Piet Fortuin. "This is the icing on the cake for many people."
