Byron Tate joins Arkansas Times as managing editor

An editorial shakeup is coming to the Arkansas Times.  As reported Tuesday in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, veteran journalist Byron Tate is joining the Times as managing editor. Tate will start on March 9 after finishing up business at The Pine Bluff Commercial, where he’s served as editor/publisher since the Democrat-Gazette purchased the Pine Bluff publication in 2020 and turned it into a four-page section inside the daily Democrat-Gazette. …
