The demolition work on the Dresdner Carolabrücke is progressing faster than expected. If it continues so quickly, the work could already be completed at the end of October.
The bridge is gone. Only the pillar D is still dredged. Also the construction road has been largely removed. From the Elbe bank one can now look almost unhindered at the Brühlsche Terasse and the old town behind it.
