- Designed by Chinese automotive titan BYD for European markets and made in Hungary, the vehicle utilizes BYD's "Super Hybrid" system, pairing a 1.5-liter gas engine with electric motors to provide an "EV driving experience."
- Higher trim levels feature an 18.3 kWh battery supporting 39 kW fast charging, delivering a combined range of 646 miles, while the Active model relies on a 7.42 kWh battery.
- Boasting class-leading 425 liters of cargo capacity, the Comfort and Sport editions add premium features including "puddle lights" and panoramic roofs to the standard Active equipment.
- With first customer deliveries scheduled for September 2026, the hatchback directly challenges European segment mainstays like the Toyota Yaris and Renault hybrids.
