North Korean hackers laundered $1.4 billion following the Bybit hack. Despite the efforts of researchers and Bybit teams, the hackers transferred the vast majority of their loot through a controversial platform, THORChain.

On February 21, hackers stole assets worth over $1.4 billion from the crypto exchange Bybit. Within ten days, the attackers completely laundered the stolen funds, transferring about 500,000 ETH (approximately $1.04 billion) through the decentralized protocol THORChain.
