DELMAR, Md. – An unattended burn pit destroyed three sheds at a Delmar residence on Tuesday afternoon. At 2:43 p.m. on Nov. 25, crews from the Delmar Fire Department responded to a residence on Roy West Road after the owner discovered a fire on the property. A structure fire that occurred yesterday afternoon on Roy West Road in Delmar in Wicomico County was determined to have been accidental. According to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal, occupants of the residence were using a burn pit approximately an hour before the fire.
