Since summer 2023 Christoph Freund has been one of the squad planners of FC Bayern as Sport Director. After Max Eberl and CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen were recently equipped with an extension of the contract beyond 2027, such a deal is still in the long run with the Austrian.
