Bumbershoot announces 2026 lineup with hometown headliner
The two-day festival adds re-entry tickets and a local-food-only lineup as organizers aim to make the Seattle event more accessible.
- On Tuesday, Bumbershoot Arts & Music Festival announced its 2026 lineup, featuring hometown headliner Death Cab for Cutie and Baltimore hardcore band Turnstile as top acts for the Labor Day weekend festival.
- Organizers New Rising Sun rebooted the Seattle institution and scheduled the 53rd edition across the 74-acre Seattle Center campus beneath the Space Needle for Sept. 5-6.
- The diverse roster includes Japanese Breakfast, Orville Peck, Bikini Kill, and De La Soul, while organizers introduced a new "sip and stroll" policy allowing attendees to carry open containers.
- Three ticket options are available: general admission starts at $70 for single-day passes, deluxe weekend passes cost $325, and children 12 and under are admitted free.
- Fans can purchase re-entry tickets for an additional $20-$30, allowing them to leave and return, while StubHub offers a 110% guarantee on all secondary market ticket orders through its FanProtect program.
