Bulgaria's interim Prime Minister Andrei Gurov is promising tougher measures against vote-buying and election manipulation as the country heads into its eighth round of parliamentary elections in five years. The vote is scheduled for Sunday, April 19.
Giurov has thus stressed that "elections in Bulgaria are not for sale" and has insisted that he will do everything in his power to avoid "interferences" that undermine the electoral process, as he has indicated in an interview with the US daily 'Politic'.
