Bufkin named acting Fire Marshal

Following the Stephens County Commissioners Court’s appointment of Brian McBride as county constable last month, the county then requested that City of Breckenridge Fire Chief Malcolm Bufkin be named acting Stephens County Fire Marshal. These two appointments come as the county and city work towards filling the tremendous void left by the death of Wayne McMullen in April, who wore many hats for both entities.
