Buffalo Building Inspector Gives End-of-Year Numbers

Buffalo Building Inspector Terry Asay, in his report to the city council, gave the numbers from his department for the 2025 fiscal year.He said he issued 176 total building permits, but only 12 of those were for new homes.According to Asay, that is slightly fewer new home building permits for 2025 than in 2024, when he issued 15, and down from 14 in 2023, but overall he said it has remained pretty stable over that time.
