With a deficit of over PLN 282 billion and nearly PLN 978 billion in expenditures, the government has adopted a draft state budget for next year. Along with it, tax changes were adopted that will reduce personal income tax (PIT) for some taxpayers, but also increase other burdens.
The government has approved the budget and related legislation for 2027. Once again, gigantic expenditures are anticipated.
The most important document ensuring the functioning of the state in 2027 has been adopted by the government. This is the budget act, which assumes revenues of just under PLN 700 billion and significantly higher expenditures, reaching nearly PLN 978 billion.
On Tuesday, the Council of Ministers is scheduled to discuss the draft budget for 2027; it must be submitted to the Sejm by the end of September. On the same day, the government will also discuss the draft public debt management strategy.
