Pioneering Future: BSNL Teams Up with Global Telecom Titans for Youth Training

JABALPUR, MADHYA PRADESH, INDIA, AUG 11 – BSNL and global firms Ericsson, Qualcomm, Cisco, and Nokia will train 2,000 students annually in 5G, AI, and networking at BRBRAITT to support India's digital and skilling missions.

  • On Monday, August 11, 2025, in New Delhi, BSNL signed MoUs with Ericsson, Qualcomm, Cisco, and Nokia in presence of Communications Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia.
  • Aligning with Aatmanirbhar Bharat, the collaboration aims to train Indian youth in 5G, AI/ML, and digital networking.
  • Students undergoing the Ericsson Educate program will benefit from a global curriculum and lab facilities, while Nokia will support the creation of a 5G Centre of Excellence and AI/ML Lab, training 300 students annually.
  • During the ceremony, Scindia highlighted that `The youth of our country will not only participate in research and innovation but will lead in these fields`, emphasizing the significance of the training initiative.
  • Building on these MoUs, around 2,000 students will be trained annually at BRBRAITT, part of the DoT's plan to establish TIRTC as a national telecom hub.
