Brush Fire Burns Approximately 8 Acres in Valle Vista

Firefighters were battling a brush fire Saturday that was burning about eight acres in Valle Vista. The fire was reported around 10:20 a.m. Saturday in the area of Bee Canyon Truck Trail, north of Highway 74, according to the nonprofit wildfire-information service Watch Duty. The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
