New York - Czech hockey forward Pavel Zacha assisted on both of Boston's goals in a 2-3 overtime loss to Washington in pre-NHL training. David Pastrňák scored one goal for the Bruins. Radek Faksa also scored as Dallas defeated Minnesota 2-1.
Czech hockey forwards David Pastrňák (1+0) and Pavel Zacha (0+2) scored for Boston in a warm-up game before the NHL season starts in Washington. The home team Capitals eventually won 3-2 after overtime, when Jordan Kyrou scored in the first minute of regulation. Center Radek Faksa scored a goal to help Dallas narrowly beat Minnesota 2-1. Martin Nečas was also in action, but he did not score in Colorado's 5-2 triumph over Winnipeg.
