Bruce Willis' mother Marlene, 90, hailed 'icon' of LAPD after 22 years volunteering

- Marlene rarely references her famous son, keeping only a screensaver photo of them together on her computer. Former LAPD Chief Michel Moore noted she was "never one to wear her identity as his mother on her sleeve."
- Moore previously named her LAPD volunteer of the year and presented her with a badge. He emphasized, "To you and the work you do, we will be forever grateful," reflecting her lasting impression.
- Bruce, 71, retired from acting in 2022 following a frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. His wife, Emma Heming Willis, recently explained that FTD involves "anosognosia," where the brain cannot identify the disease's progression.
