About a year after rapper Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder, Bruce Hornsby received a parcel in the mail. It was from the foundation bearing Shakur’s name. “And so obviously, I’m opening this up, curious,” recalls Hornsby, singer/songwriter/pianist with hits like “Mandolin Rain,” “The Valley Road” and “Every Little Kiss.”
