Broadcom launches Jericho chip to advance AI data center networks

PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA, AUG 4 – Jericho4 chip enables secure, high-bandwidth connections over 100 km, supporting over one million processors and boosting network utilization by up to 70%, Broadcom said.

  • Broadcom developed Jericho4 to meet growing AI infrastructure demands that exceed single data center power and size limits, requiring linking multiple facilities.
