For a long time, various public broadcasters have not been as much in agreement with each other as they are now. They are completely fed up with Ongehoord Nederland (ON!). On Thursday, media reporter Gudo Tienhooven saw a unique letter in which member broadcasters indicate that they can no longer work with ON!. They want the minister to take measures. "Such a joint statement is very special," Tienhooven says.
In a joint draft letter, member broadcasters express their concerns regarding Ongehoord Nederland, the aspiring broadcaster that has been the subject of discussion for some time. A spokesperson for the Board of Broadcasters confirmed this following reporting on the matter by the AD.
Ongehoord Nederland (ON) is once again under heavy fire within the public broadcasting system. All other member broadcasters have stated in a joint letter that they can no longer cooperate with ON if the broadcaster does not change. They call on Media Minister Rianne Letschert to take ‘appropriate measures’. This further increases the pressure on the right-wing aspiring broadcaster.
