British Steel moves to round-the-clock production for Turkish high-speed rail project

British Steel has begun 24-hour rail manufacturing after securing a new high-speed rail supply contract for Türkiye valued at tens of millions of pounds. The agreement is backed by UK Export Finance and covers the supply of 36,000 tonnes of rail for a major electrified line linking Ankara and İzmir.
