Barbie and Peter Reynolds have been held in Taliban captivity in Afghanistan for nearly six months, and the reason for their detainment remains unknown — now, their son is speaking out.
Five months ago, the Taliban captured Peter (80) and Barbie Reynolds (76). The couple are British, but have lived in Afghanistan for years and are Afghan citizens. They are educators who, among other things, have helped educate Afghan women, which could prove fatal for them. No charges have been filed against the elderly couple yet.
