In Sheremetievo, the Boeing 777 aircraft, which was on its way to Cuba, was "interrupted" by the commander of the aircraft, with 432 passengers and 21 crew members on board; no one was injured; this was the Moscow-Kayo-Coko flight of the Russian airline Nordwind Airlines. TASS, referring to the carrier, reported that the passengers were planning to return to Cuba later that day with a reserve ship.
On the morning of 16 December, a Boeing 777 Nordwind Airlines aircraft took off on Flight N4551 to the Cuban Resort Cayo Coco on board 432 passengers and 21 crew members, with no injuries reported to the airport ' s press service.
